Gwalior Accident Kills 14 Devotees; PM Modi Announces Relief

A tragic accident in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, claimed the lives of 14 devotees when a truck collided with people gathered near a temple early Sunday morning. The incident also left approximately 40 individuals injured. Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his condolences to the grieving families and announced an ex gratia compensation of Rs 2 lakh for the next of kin of each deceased. Additionally, he sanctioned financial assistance of Rs 50,000 for each person injured in the mishap from the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund.

मध्य प्रदेश के ग्वालियर में एक दर्दनाक हादसे में 14 श्रद्धालुओं की जान चली गई। रविवार तड़के एक ट्रक ने मंदिर के पास जमा लोगों को टक्कर मार दी। इस हादसे में करीब 40 लोग घायल भी हुए हैं। प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने शोक संतप्त परिवारों के प्रति संवेदना व्यक्त की है। उन्होंने प्रधानमंत्री राष्ट्रीय राहत कोष से प्रत्येक मृतक के परिजनों को 2 लाख रुपये और प्रत्येक घायल को 50,000 रुपये की अनुग्रह राशि देने की घोषणा की है।
