Enforcement teams successfully demolished 80 illegal structures, reclaiming approximately 6 acres of encroached farmland near the local meat market. The operation involved inter-departmental teams and a significant police presence, with electricity and water connections disconnected beforehand. The administration reiterated its zero-tolerance policy, vowing to continue strict enforcement against encroachments across the city and its green belts.

चंडीगढ़ प्रशासन ने बुधवार की सुबह मणिमाजरा के शास्त्री नगर गाँव में कृषि भूमि पर हुए अनधिकृत निर्माणों को निशाना बनाते हुए तोड़फोड़ अभियान चलाया। प्रवर्तन टीमों ने स्थानीय मांस बाजार के पास लगभग 6 एकड़ अतिक्रमित कृषि भूमि को खाली कराते हुए 80 अवैध ढाँचों को सफलतापूर्वक ध्वस्त कर दिया। इस अभियान में विभिन्न विभागों की टीमें और भारी पुलिस बल शामिल था, और पहले बिजली व पानी के कनेक्शन काट दिए गए थे। प्रशासन ने अपनी 'जीरो टॉलरेंस' नीति को दोहराया और शहर व हरित पट्टियों में अतिक्रमण के खिलाफ सख्त प्रवर्तन जारी रखने का संकल्प लिया।
