Odisha Bamboo Plantation Earns Sustainability Certification

A bamboo plantation in Odisha's Mayurbhanj district has received the prestigious Pramaan certificate under the Indian Forest and Wood Certification Scheme. Union minister Bhupender Yadav presented the award to a local farmer and the Odisha Bamboo Development Agency. This certification covers 14.03 hectares of bamboo plantations and recognizes sustainable cultivation practices. The recognition is expected to enhance market credibility and create new opportunities for Odisha's bamboo farmers in domestic and export markets.

ओडिशा के बांस बागान को मिला सस्टेनेबिलिटी सर्टिफिकेशन

ओडिशा के मयूरभंज जिले में एक बांस बागान को इंडियन फॉरेस्ट एंड वुड सर्टिफिकेशन स्कीम के तहत प्रतिष्ठित प्रमाणन (Pramaan) का सर्टिफिकेट मिला है। केंद्रीय मंत्री भूपेंद्र यादव ने यह पुरस्कार एक स्थानीय किसान और ओडिशा बांस विकास एजेंसी को दिया। यह सर्टिफिकेशन 14.03 हेक्टेयर बांस बागानों को कवर करता है और टिकाऊ खेती के तरीकों को मान्यता देता है। इस मान्यता से बाजार में विश्वसनीयता बढ़ने और ओडिशा के बांस किसानों के लिए घरेलू और निर्यात बाजारों में नए अवसर पैदा होने की उम्मीद है।
