The Andhra Pradesh RTI Commission has received national acclaim for its efficient case disposal, with nearly 95% of hearings now conducted online. Between January and September 2026, the commission resolved 7,034 cases, significantly more than in previous years. The commission aims to clear all pending cases filed between 2013 and 2023 by the end of November. This digital approach allows citizens to file applications and attend hearings remotely, saving time and travel costs, and has been lauded by the Supreme Court.
