CBSE Drops CT and AI Modules for Class 9 Students

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has removed computational technology (CT) and artificial intelligence (AI) modules from the Class 9 curriculum for the current academic session. This decision aims to provide clarity for students as they advance to Class 10. The board stated that these components, along with 'Individuals in Society', will not be part of the Class 9 curriculum for the 2026-27 session. Environmental Education will also be excluded from Class 10 for the same cohort in 2027-28.

केंद्रीय माध्यमिक शिक्षा बोर्ड (CBSE) ने चालू शैक्षणिक सत्र के लिए कक्षा 9 के पाठ्यक्रम से कम्प्यूटेशनल टेक्नोलॉजी (CT) और आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस (AI) मॉड्यूल हटा दिए हैं। इस फैसले का उद्देश्य कक्षा 10 में आगे बढ़ने वाले छात्रों के लिए स्पष्टता प्रदान करना है। बोर्ड ने कहा कि 'इंडिविजुअल्स इन सोसाइटी' के साथ ये घटक 2026-27 सत्र के लिए कक्षा 9 के पाठ्यक्रम का हिस्सा नहीं होंगे। पर्यावरण शिक्षा को भी 2027-28 में उसी समूह के लिए कक्षा 10 से बाहर रखा जाएगा।
