A speeding truck ploughed into devotees outside the Sheetla Mata temple in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, killing 14 people and injuring 28 others early Sunday. The truck entered a prohibited area before crashing into the temple entrance, causing a wall to collapse. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav ordered the removal of the Gwalior City Superintendent of Police and the suspension of eight other police personnel. The government announced compensation for the deceased and injured, and ordered an inquiry to fix responsibility.

रविवार तड़के मध्य प्रदेश के ग्वालियर में शीतला माता मंदिर के बाहर तेज रफ्तार ट्रक ने श्रद्धालुओं को कुचल दिया, जिसमें 14 लोगों की मौत हो गई और 28 अन्य घायल हो गए। ट्रक मंदिर के प्रवेश द्वार से टकराने से पहले एक प्रतिबंधित क्षेत्र में घुस गया, जिससे एक दीवार गिर गई। मध्य प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री मोहन यादव ने ग्वालियर के सिटी सुपरिंटेंडेंट ऑफ पुलिस को हटाने और आठ अन्य पुलिसकर्मियों को निलंबित करने का आदेश दिया। सरकार ने मृतकों और घायलों के लिए मुआवजे की घोषणा की और जिम्मेदारी तय करने के लिए जांच का आदेश दिया।
