Ganesh processions concluded peacefully in Vadodara on Friday, with thousands of police personnel deployed across the city to ensure order. Communally sensitive areas in the old city were heavily secured by police and the Rapid Action Force. Thousands of idols were immersed in 11 artificial tanks constructed throughout Vadodara, with the Navlakhi compound tank receiving the most immersions. Authorities reported no untoward incidents during the festivities, which continued late into the night with devotees celebrating.

वडोदरा में शुक्रवार को गणेश विसर्जन शांतिपूर्ण ढंग से संपन्न हुआ। शहर में व्यवस्था बनाए रखने के लिए हज़ारों पुलिसकर्मी तैनात थे। पुराने शहर के संवेदनशील इलाकों में पुलिस और रैपिड एक्शन फ़ोर्स की कड़ी सुरक्षा थी। शहर भर में बनाए गए 11 कृत्रिम तालाबों में हज़ारों मूर्तियों का विसर्जन किया गया, जिसमें नवलाखी कंपाउंड तालाब में सबसे ज़्यादा मूर्तियां विसर्जित हुईं। अधिकारियों ने बताया कि उत्सव के दौरान कोई अप्रिय घटना नहीं हुई।
