Residents Demand Removal of Barricade Blocking 40-ft Road

Residents of Hanuman Nagar in Belagavi have petitioned the Belagavi City Corporation (BCC) commissioner to remove a barricade that has blocked a 40-foot-wide road. The road, in use since 1975-76 and part of the approved master plan, was allegedly closed by M/s Navasa Estates LLP. The closure has caused significant inconvenience to locals who have used the road for nearly five decades. Residents are urging the BCC to intervene, verify the road's status, and restore public access.

बेलगावी के हनुमान नगर के निवासियों ने बेलगावी सिटी कॉर्पोरेशन (BCC) के आयुक्त से 40 फुट चौड़ी सड़क को अवरुद्ध करने वाली बैरिकेड को हटाने की याचिका दायर की है। यह सड़क, जो 1975-76 से उपयोग में है और स्वीकृत मास्टर प्लान का हिस्सा है, कथित तौर पर M/s Navasa Estates LLP द्वारा बंद कर दी गई थी। इस बंद से स्थानीय लोगों को भारी असुविधा हो रही है, जो लगभग पांच दशकों से इस सड़क का उपयोग कर रहे हैं। निवासी BCC से हस्तक्षेप करने, सड़क की स्थिति का सत्यापन करने और सार्वजनिक पहुंच बहाल करने का आग्रह कर रहे हैं।
