Kanpur police have uncovered a shocking murder plot where the victim's son, Subrat, allegedly orchestrated his father Vineet Minocha's death. Driven by a desire for inheritance and to fund his lavish lifestyle, Subrat planned the murder due to mounting debts from IPL betting and casino losses totaling approximately 20 lakh rupees. He allegedly hired a former employee, Vishal, for the deed, promising him 6 lakh rupees and clearing his existing debt. Subrat was reportedly captured on CCTV disabling the recording system, providing crucial evidence against him.
