Russia Rejects Western Ceasefire Calls

A Russian diplomat has stated that Western calls for a ceasefire in Ukraine are not genuine. According to the diplomat, the West allegedly desires a pause in fighting solely to prepare for a future escalation of the conflict. Russia has indicated it will not agree to such terms.
