Kerala CM to Release Book Co-Authored by Late Fisheries Expert

Kerala Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan will release a book co-authored by the late B. Madhusoodana Kurup, a distinguished fisheries expert and former Vice-Chancellor, in Kochi on Friday, October 29, 2026. The book, titled 'Exploring the Legacy of Fishing and Farming Below Sea Level: Vembanad-Kole Wetlands of Southern India,' was co-written with Dr. Sileesh Mullasseri. The School of Industrial Fisheries, Cusat, is organizing the event to honor Dr. Kurup's memory. Fisheries Minister V.E. Abdul Gafoor will preside over the function.

केरल के मुख्यमंत्री वी.डी. सतीसन, कोच्चि में शुक्रवार, 29 अक्टूबर 2026 को दिवंगत बी. मधुसूदन कुरुप की सह-लिखित पुस्तक का विमोचन करेंगे। वे एक प्रतिष्ठित मत्स्य विशेषज्ञ और पूर्व कुलपति थे। पुस्तक का शीर्षक 'Exploring the Legacy of Fishing and Farming Below Sea Level: Vembanad-Kole Wetlands of Southern India' है, जिसे डॉ. शीलेश मुल्लासेरी के साथ मिलकर लिखा गया है। स्कूल ऑफ इंडस्ट्रियल फिशरीज, कुसैट, डॉ. कुरुप की स्मृति का सम्मान करने के लिए इस कार्यक्रम का आयोजन कर रहा है। मत्स्य मंत्री वी.ई. अब्दुल गफूर इस समारोह की अध्यक्षता करेंगे।
