The deep depression over the Bay of Bengal intensified into cyclonic storm 'Murasu' on Sunday, November 1, 2026. The Odisha government has declared a high alert in its southern region, ordering evacuations from low-lying and hilly areas. IMD stated that cyclone Murasu is expected to intensify further and make landfall on the Andhra Pradesh coast by the morning of November 3. Odisha anticipates rainfall from November 2, with increased intensity on November 3 and 4 due to the cyclone's influence.

चक्रवात मुरसु बंगाल की खाड़ी में बना ओडिशा हाई अलर्ट पर

रविवार, 1 नवंबर 2026 को बंगाल की खाड़ी पर गहरा दबाव चक्रवाती तूफान 'मुरसु' में बदल गया। ओडिशा सरकार ने अपने दक्षिणी क्षेत्र में हाई अलर्ट घोषित कर दिया है और निचले और पहाड़ी इलाकों से लोगों को निकालने का आदेश दिया है। IMD ने कहा कि चक्रवात मुरसु के और तेज होने और 3 नवंबर की सुबह तक आंध्र प्रदेश के तट से टकराने की उम्मीद है। ओडिशा में 2 नवंबर से बारिश की उम्मीद है, और चक्रवात के प्रभाव के कारण 3 और 4 नवंबर को इसकी तीव्रता बढ़ जाएगी।
