12 Bangladeshi Nationals Nabbed in Assam; Human Trafficking Suspected

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced the apprehension of 12 Bangladeshi nationals, including three children, in Goalpara district for illegal entry into India. The group claimed they were brought to India on October 5 by a broker named Sabor and later kept in Guwahati. Authorities suspect a human trafficking and infiltration network is involved, with brokers allegedly promising jobs to the infiltrators. The Chief Minister vowed to apprehend those aiding the illegal migrants and assured strict legal action.

असम के मुख्यमंत्री हिमंता बिस्वा सरमा ने बताया कि गोलपाड़ा जिले में 12 बांग्लादेशी नागरिकों को अवैध रूप से भारत में घुसने के आरोप में पकड़ा गया है, जिनमें तीन बच्चे भी शामिल हैं। समूह ने दावा किया कि उन्हें 5 अक्टूबर को 'सबोर' नाम के एक दलाल भारत लाया था और बाद में उन्हें गुवाहाटी में रखा गया था। अधिकारियों को मानव तस्करी और घुसपैठ के नेटवर्क पर शक है, जिसमें दलाल कथित तौर पर घुसपैठियों को नौकरी का लालच दे रहे थे। मुख्यमंत्री ने अवैध प्रवासियों की मदद करने वालों को पकड़ने का वादा किया और सख्त कानूनी कार्रवाई का आश्वासन दिया।
