Noida Residents Demand Action On Broken Roads, Clogged Drains

Residents of nearly 20 high-rise societies near Noida's Sector 101 metro station are complaining about poor sanitation, damaged roads, and clogged drains. The area, a green belt meant to act as a pollution buffer, is now filled with garbage, makeshift homes, and unauthorised shops. Residents have written to the Noida Authority CEO and NMRC MD seeking urgent remedial measures. They have requested a joint inspection and a time-bound action plan to address the persistent issues of potholes, stagnant water, and blocked drains.

नोएडा के सेक्टर 101 मेट्रो स्टेशन के पास करीब 20 हाई-राईज सोसायटियों के निवासियों ने खराब स्वच्छता, क्षतिग्रस्त सड़कों और जाम नालियों की शिकायत की है। यह इलाका, जो प्रदूषण बफर के रूप में काम करने के लिए एक हरित पट्टी थी, अब कूड़े, अस्थायी घरों और अनधिकृत दुकानों से भरी हुई है। निवासियों ने तत्काल सुधारात्मक उपायों की मांग करते हुए नोएडा अथॉरिटी के सीईओ और NMRC एमडी को पत्र लिखा है। उन्होंने गड्ढों, रुके हुए पानी और अवरुद्ध नालियों के लगातार मुद्दों को हल करने के लिए एक संयुक्त निरीक्षण और समयबद्ध कार्य योजना का अनुरोध किया है।
