MMR Leads Housing Sales, NCR Tops Price Growth

The Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) recorded the highest housing sales in India's top seven cities during the July-September 2026 quarter, selling approximately 31,750 units. Overall sales across these cities surpassed 1 lakh units, marking a 3% year-on-year increase. Housing prices saw a 7% annual rise, with the NCR experiencing the steepest growth at 12%. Available housing inventory also increased by 12% year-on-year, indicating a growing market supply.

मुंबई मेट्रोपॉलिटन रीजन (एमएमआर) ने जुलाई-सितंबर 2026 तिमाही में भारत के टॉप सात शहरों में सबसे ज़्यादा घरों की बिक्री दर्ज की, जिसमें लगभग 31,750 यूनिट्स बिकीं। इन शहरों में कुल बिक्री 1 लाख यूनिट्स से ज़्यादा रही, जो पिछले साल की तुलना में 3% ज़्यादा है। घरों की कीमतों में 7% की सालाना बढ़ोतरी हुई, जिसमें एनसीआर में सबसे ज़्यादा 12% की बढ़ोतरी देखी गई। घरों का उपलब्ध स्टॉक भी पिछले साल की तुलना में 12% बढ़ गया, जो बाज़ार में बढ़ती सप्लाई का संकेत देता है।
