Pune police have arrested 13 officers and eight agents in connection with a fake Kurash certificate racket used to secure government jobs. Two office-bearers of the Maharashtra State Kurash Association were also apprehended. The investigation began after a tip-off that candidates obtained forged certificates without participating in competitions. This probe has led to scrutiny of 71 candidates recruited since 2023 and raises questions about the verification process for sports quota benefits in government recruitment.

पुणे पुलिस ने सरकारी नौकरी पाने के लिए इस्तेमाल किए जा रहे फर्जी कुराश सर्टिफिकेट रैकेट के सिलसिले में 13 अधिकारियों और आठ एजेंटों को गिरफ्तार किया है। महाराष्ट्र राज्य कुराश एसोसिएशन के दो पदाधिकारियों को भी पकड़ा गया है। यह जांच इस सूचना के बाद शुरू हुई कि उम्मीदवारों ने प्रतियोगिताओं में भाग लिए बिना जाली प्रमाण पत्र प्राप्त किए थे। इस जांच से 2023 से भर्ती हुए 71 उम्मीदवारों की जांच की जा रही है और सरकारी भर्ती में खेल कोटे के लाभों के सत्यापन प्रक्रिया पर सवाल उठ रहे हैं।
