Coimbatore city police have registered a case against a 14-year-old boy and his father after the minor, riding a motorcycle with his father on the pillion, collided with a scooter. The accident occurred on 100 Feet Road in Gandhipuram, resulting in injuries to the scooter rider, Sivakumar, 54. He was treated at a private hospital and subsequently filed a complaint. Cases have been filed under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Motor Vehicles Act.
