Hindustan Times · business
McKinsey has demoted a senior partner, Chris Bradley, from his leadership role at the McKinsey Global Institute over controversial comments made on LinkedIn. Bradley questioned the concept of the "glass cliff," a phenomenon where women are appointed to leadership positions during organizational crises. He described the theory as a "convenient way to always be a victim." A McKinsey spokesperson stated that Bradley's public comments "fell well short of the standards we expect at our firm." The partner remains with the firm but has been removed from his leadership positions.
