Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has urged the Pimpri-Chinchwad police to leverage modern technology for enhanced crime prevention and detection. He emphasized the need for technological solutions as the industrial township is projected to surpass Pune in population within 15 years. The state government has provided new vehicles, drones, and body-worn cameras to the police. Fadnavis also highlighted the importance of collective efforts to combat substance abuse among youth, aiming for a drug-free nation in three to four years.

महाराष्ट्र के मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस ने पिंपरी-चिंचवड पुलिस से अपराध की रोकथाम और पता लगाने के लिए आधुनिक तकनीक का लाभ उठाने का आग्रह किया है। उन्होंने तकनीकी समाधानों की आवश्यकता पर जोर दिया क्योंकि औद्योगिक कस्बे की आबादी 15 वर्षों में पुणे से आगे निकल जाने की उम्मीद है। राज्य सरकार ने पुलिस को नए वाहन, ड्रोन और बॉडी-वॉर्न कैमरे प्रदान किए हैं। फडणवीस ने तीन से चार वर्षों में एक नशामुक्त राष्ट्र के लक्ष्य के साथ युवाओं के बीच नशीली दवाओं के दुरुपयोग से निपटने के लिए सामूहिक प्रयासों के महत्व पर भी प्रकाश डाला।
