The AP JAC Amaravati women's wing has urged the Andhra Pradesh State government to extend two years of childcare leave for women employees, matching Central government provisions. The demand was adopted through four resolutions at a conference in Vijayawada. The wing also called for essential facilities like separate toilets and childcare centres in government offices. A new 21-member State committee was formed for the 2026-2029 term, with Ponnuru Vijayalakshmi elected chairperson. The committee aims to secure women employees' rights, job security, and equal opportunities.

एपी जैक अमरावती महिला विंग ने आंध्र प्रदेश राज्य सरकार से महिला कर्मचारियों के लिए दो साल की चाइल्डकेयर लीव बढ़ाने का आग्रह किया है, जो केंद्र सरकार के प्रावधानों के बराबर है। विजयवाड़ा में एक सम्मेलन में चार प्रस्तावों के माध्यम से यह मांग अपनाई गई। विंग ने सरकारी दफ्तरों में अलग शौचालय और चाइल्डकेयर सेंटर जैसी आवश्यक सुविधाओं की भी मांग की। 2026-2029 कार्यकाल के लिए 21 सदस्यीय नई राज्य समिति का गठन किया गया, जिसमें पोंनुरु विजयलक्ष्मी को अध्यक्ष चुना गया। समिति का लक्ष्य महिला कर्मचारियों के अधिकारों, नौकरी की सुरक्षा और समान अवसरों को सुरक्षित करना है।
