RJD MLA's PhD Student Cousin Shot Dead on Way to University

A 30-year-old PhD student and maternal cousin of RJD MLA Chandrashekhar was shot dead by bike-borne criminals in Madhepura, Bihar, on Friday. Prince Ranjan was on his way to B N Mandal University when assailants intercepted and fired at him. Locals rushed him to the hospital, where he was declared brought dead. Police are investigating the incident and attempting to identify the assailants, while the MLA has demanded immediate arrests, citing growing insecurity in the state. बिहार के मधेपुरा में शुक्रवार को राजद विधायक चंद्रशेखर के 30 वर्षीय पीएचडी छात्र और ममेरे भाई प्रिंस रंजन की बाइक सवार अपराधियों ने गोली मारकर हत्या कर दी। हमलावरों ने बीएन मंडल विश्वविद्यालय जाते समय प्रिंस को रोका और उस पर गोली चला दी। स्थानीय लोगों ने उसे अस्पताल पहुंचाया, जहां उसे मृत घोषित कर दिया गया। पुलिस घटना की जांच कर रही है और हमलावरों की पहचान करने की कोशिश कर रही है, जबकि विधायक ने राज्य में बढ़ती असुरक्षा का हवाला देते हुए तत्काल गिरफ्तारी की मांग की है। हत्या के पीछे का मकसद अभी तक पता नहीं चल पाया है।
