The burials took place on Sunday, two days after attackers opened fire during another funeral at the church. Nine people were killed and dozens wounded in the rare attack on Jordan’s Christian minority, prompting three days of national mourning. Jordanian authorities have described the attack as "extremist terrorism" and King Abdullah has promised a forceful response as assailants are still being sought.
