Telangana has recorded its highest-ever attendance under the Viksit Bharat-Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin), with daily attendance soaring to 2.16 lakh in October, a significant increase from 24,750 last year. This surge, reaching an all-time high of 2.54 lakh workers on a single day, highlights growing rural distress and the need for expanded employment opportunities. Officials attribute the demand to stress in the farm sector caused by erratic rainfall and El Niño.

विक्सित भारत-गारंटी फॉर रोजगार और आजीविका मिशन (ग्रामीण) के तहत तेलंगाना में अब तक की सबसे अधिक उपस्थिति दर्ज की गई है, अक्टूबर में दैनिक उपस्थिति 2.16 लाख तक पहुंच गई, जो पिछले साल के 24,750 से काफी अधिक है। एक दिन में 2.54 लाख श्रमिकों के रिकॉर्ड स्तर पर पहुंचने वाली इस वृद्धि से ग्रामीण संकट और रोजगार के अवसरों को बढ़ाने की आवश्यकता पर प्रकाश पड़ता है। अधिकारियों का कहना है कि अनियमित बारिश और अल नीनो के कारण कृषि क्षेत्र में तनाव के चलते यह मांग बढ़ी है।
