Russian Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed that the loss of Russian petroleum products from international exports is affecting global markets. He stated that the oil market situation is rapidly deteriorating due to instability in the Persian Gulf and a significant volume of oil being removed from supplies. Russia has imposed a ban on petroleum product exports to ensure sufficient domestic supply.
