The Odisha government has launched the Godabarisha Bidyarthi Protsahan Yojana to promote digital education. Under this initiative, 15,000 selected students who have passed Class 12 will receive financial assistance of ₹30,000 each to purchase laptops. This amount will be directly transferred to the students' Aadhaar-linked bank accounts. Eligible students who passed Class 12 in 2024 or 2025 can apply, provided they meet the academic and residency criteria. The scheme aims to equip meritorious students with essential technological tools for their education.
