North Korea has vehemently denied accusations linking it to the record $6.3 billion hack of cryptocurrency exchange Binance. Kim Yo-jong, sister of leader Kim Jong Un, called the allegations "absurd rhetoric" and a "sinister attempt" by the US to tarnish the country's image. US authorities, including the FBI, have attributed the massive cyberattack to the state-backed hacking group TraderTraitor, also known as the Lazarus Group. Pyongyang has a history of denying similar cybercrime accusations, which it claims are politically motivated provocations.
