Kerala Vigilance Forms Special Teams For CMRL-Exalogic Corruption Cases

The Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau (VACB) in Kerala has established special investigation teams (SITs) to probe alleged financial transactions between CMRL and Exalogic Solutions. These cases involve Opposition Leader Pinarayi Vijayan, his daughter T. Veena, and former Minister P.A. Mohamed Riyas. E.N. Suresh, Superintendent of Police, will lead the investigation concerning Mr. Vijayan, while Balakrishnan, Superintendent of Police, will head the probe involving Mr. Riyas. Both cases are registered under the Prevention of Corruption Act, with Ms. Veena listed as the second accused in each.
