India Faces Asian Games Accommodation Shortage

India's Chef de Mission for the Asian Games, Sahdev Yadav, confirmed initial accommodation, accreditation, and transportation issues for the Indian contingent in Japan. The Sports Authority of India has made independent arrangements for athletes, booking 18 hotel rooms with plans for 10 more due to a reduced accommodation quota upon arrival. Despite acknowledging some mismanagement, Yadav stressed the priority is resolving athletes' problems to ensure comfort and focus on winning medals.
