Election Commission Tells Supreme Court All Decisions Made Unanimously

ECI has submitted an affidavit to the Supreme Court, asserting that all decisions related to the SIR of voter lists were made unanimously. The ECI clarified that comments or suggestions made during the internal processing of files do not constitute final decisions. The affidavit, filed in response to petitions questioning the ECI's functioning, also stated that Form 6 for new voter registrations remains unchanged.

चुनाव आयोग (ECI) ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट में एक हलफनामा दायर कर कहा है कि मतदाता सूचियों के SIR से जुड़े सभी फैसले सर्वसम्मति से लिए गए थे। ECI ने स्पष्ट किया कि फाइलों की आंतरिक प्रक्रिया के दौरान की गई टिप्पणियां या सुझाव अंतिम निर्णय नहीं माने जाते। ECI के कामकाज पर सवाल उठाने वाली याचिकाओं के जवाब में दायर हलफनामे में यह भी कहा गया है कि नए मतदाता पंजीकरण के लिए फॉर्म 6 अपरिवर्तित है।
