Himachal Pradesh to Hire PGI, AIIMS PG Graduates Without Tests

The Himachal Pradesh government has amended its Resident Doctors Policy-2025 to directly appoint eligible postgraduate doctors from PGI Chandigarh and AIIMS New Delhi. These appointments will be made against vacancies for senior residents or tutor specialists in the state's six medical colleges. The new clause allows for recruitment based on MBBS and postgraduate examination merit, bypassing written tests and interviews. This move aims to strengthen the availability of specialist medical personnel and improve healthcare services and medical education within Himachal Pradesh.

हिमाचल प्रदेश सरकार ने रेजिडेंट डॉक्टर्स पॉलिसी-2025 में बदलाव किया है। अब PGI चंडीगढ़ और AIIMS नई दिल्ली के योग्य पोस्टग्रेजुएट डॉक्टरों की सीधी नियुक्ति की जाएगी। ये नियुक्तियां राज्य के छह मेडिकल कॉलेजों में सीनियर रेजिडेंट या ट्यूटर स्पेशलिस्ट के खाली पदों पर होंगी। नए नियम के तहत, MBBS और पोस्टग्रेजुएट परीक्षा के मेरिट के आधार पर भर्ती होगी, जिसमें लिखित परीक्षा और इंटरव्यू नहीं होंगे। इस कदम का मकसद हिमाचल प्रदेश में विशेषज्ञ डॉक्टरों की उपलब्धता को बढ़ाना और स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं व मेडिकल शिक्षा को बेहतर बनाना है।
