Delhi government has announced new measures to prevent the capital from becoming a gas chamber this year., parking charges will double, and 50% of employees in government and private offices will work from home. Fuel will not be provided to vehicles without a valid PUC certificate at ANPR camera-equipped petrol pumps. Construction and demolition activities will be phased out and monitored by CCTV. These steps aim to reduce vehicular pollution and encourage public transport use.
