BJP has demanded the resignation of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, citing a deteriorating law-and-order situation, a pervasive drug menace, rising gangsterism, and economic distress. BJP state president Sardar Kewal Singh Dhillon highlighted the recent murder of an anti-drug activist and stated that Punjab is increasingly known for substance abuse. The party also pointed to the state's rising debt, corruption allegations, industrial decline, and power shortages as further reasons for concern.

बीजेपी ने पंजाब के मुख्यमंत्री भगवंत मान से इस्तीफे की मांग की है। पार्टी का कहना है कि राज्य में कानून व्यवस्था बिगड़ गई है, नशे का बोलबाला है, गैंगस्टर बढ़ रहे हैं और आर्थिक तंगी है। बीजेपी के प्रदेश अध्यक्ष सरदार केवल सिंह ढिल्लों ने हाल ही में एक नशा विरोधी कार्यकर्ता की हत्या का जिक्र किया और कहा कि पंजाब अब नशे के लिए जाना जा रहा है। पार्टी ने राज्य पर बढ़ते कर्ज, भ्रष्टाचार के आरोपों, उद्योगों में गिरावट और बिजली की कमी को भी चिंता का कारण बताया है।
