Schaeffler India's CEO and Managing Director, Harsha Gopal Kadam, was arrested on Monday in connection with a factory accident. The incident occurred in Pune's Talegaon on June 9, when a carbon dioxide gas leak during a cylinder replacement killed two workers and affected three others. Schaeffler India manufactures automotive and industrial components. The arrest follows the fatal accident that occurred several months prior to the company's filing with stock exchanges.
