Venezuelans Rally For Opposition Leader Machado's Return

Hundreds of Venezuelans rallied in Caracas and several state capitals on Sunday, demanding the safe return of opposition leader Maria Corina Machado. Machado has been living in exile for nine months and has made seven unsuccessful attempts to return to Venezuela. She was barred from running in elections by courts under President Nicolás Maduro's government. Supporters wore sky-blue shirts, the color of Machado's Vente Venezuela party, and rode motorcycles through the streets. Demonstrators chanted slogans and demanded a clear timeline for presidential elections in 2027.
