कांग्रेस वर्किंग कमेटी ने 1937 के अपने प्रस्ताव को मानने का फैसला किया है। इसके तहत पार्टी की बैठकों में राष्ट्रगीत 'वंदे मातरम' की सिर्फ पहली दो पंक्तियाँ ही गाई जाएंगी। इस फैसले पर बीजेपी ने कांग्रेस की आलोचना की है और उन्हें "मुस्लिम लीग" करार दिया है। यह मामला अब चर्चा का विषय बन गया है।
