Pakistan Submarine Test Fires Chinese Cruise Missile

Pakistan's newly inducted Chinese-built AIP submarine successfully test-fired an anti-ship cruise missile in the North Arabian Sea. The missile, identified as the Chinese YJ-18, is assessed to have a strike range of up to 540 km. This test follows a recent naval collision between Indian and Pakistani vessels in the same region. The Hangor-class submarine's Air Independent Propulsion system allows it to remain submerged for extended periods, making it difficult to detect.

पाकिस्तान की नई चीनी-निर्मित AIP पनडुब्बी ने उत्तरी अरब सागर में एक एंटी-शिप क्रूज मिसाइल का सफलतापूर्वक परीक्षण किया। इस मिसाइल को चीनी YJ-18 के रूप में पहचाना गया है, जिसकी मारक क्षमता 540 किमी तक बताई जा रही है। यह परीक्षण इसी क्षेत्र में भारतीय और पाकिस्तानी नौकाओं के बीच हालिया नौसैनिक टकराव के बाद हुआ है। Hangor-क्लास पनडुब्बी की एयर इंडिपेंडेंट प्रोपल्शन (AIP) प्रणाली इसे लंबे समय तक पानी के नीचे रहने की क्षमता देती है, जिससे इसका पता लगाना मुश्किल हो जाता है।
