Polycab India Shares Tumble 6% Amid NSE Derivatives Segment Exclusion

Polycab India's shares have fallen 6% over two sessions, reaching an intraday low of Rs 7,883. This decline follows the NSE announcement to exclude the company from its equity derivatives segment starting December 30. The NSE will cease issuing new contracts and levy a 100% margin on existing ones. This exclusion is often linked to companies facing insolvency proceedings, though Polycab stated an insolvency petition against it has been stayed by the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal.
