Wyoming Shed Becomes 140-Year-Old Chinese Laundry Museum

A 140-year-old Chinese laundry and bathhouse, once owned by influential resident Sam Sing in Lander, Wyoming, is being restored to become a museum exhibit. The small log cabin, donated to the Fremont County Pioneer Museum eight years ago, has been moved to Pioneer Village. Sing was among about 30 Chinese residents who contributed to the growing community despite facing discrimination.

लैंडर, व्योमिंग में 140 साल पुरानी एक चीनी लॉन्ड्री और बाथहाउस को म्यूजियम के तौर पर फिर से तैयार किया जा रहा है। यह कभी प्रभावशाली निवासी सैम सिंग के पास थी। इस छोटी सी लॉग केबिन को आठ साल पहले Fremont County Pioneer Museum को दान कर दिया गया था और अब इसे Pioneer Village में ले जाया गया है। सैम सिंग उन करीब 30 चीनी निवासियों में से थे जिन्होंने भेदभाव के बावजूद समुदाय के विकास में योगदान दिया।
