अभिनेता और कार्यकर्ता प्रकाश राज ने सरकार बदलने के लिए अपना समर्थन जताया है। उन्होंने जोर देकर कहा कि भारत में ऐसा बदलाव चुनावों और संवैधानिक तरीकों से ही होना चाहिए। उन्होंने कहा कि भारत नेपाल या बांग्लादेश जैसा नहीं है, बल्कि लोकतंत्र की समृद्ध विरासत, अंबेडकर और गांधी जैसे नेताओं और वोट देने व विरोध करने का अधिकार रखता है। राज ने सरकार पर प्रदर्शनकारियों को चुप कराने के लिए कथित तौर पर बल प्रयोग करने की आलोचना की और एक नियोजित मार्च से पहले कार्यकर्ताओं की हिरासत का हवाला दिया।
