Formula 1 driver Lando Norris has apologised to Franco Colapinto after initially calling for the Alpine driver to receive a race ban. The incident occurred during the Azerbaijan Grand Prix when Colapinto's car collided with Norris and his teammate Pierre Gasly. Norris admitted his comments were made in the heat of the moment and that he was wrong. He has since spoken directly with Colapinto, and the two drivers have resolved the issue and remain friends. Colapinto received a penalty for the collision.
