Punjab Police Seize 20kg Heroin From Border

Amritsar police have busted a cross-border narcotics smuggling module, arresting four individuals and seizing 20kg of heroin. The drugs were allegedly sent across the Indo-Pak border via drones near Rajatal village. This seizure adds to the 74kg of heroin confiscated by CI Amritsar in the past week. Preliminary investigations suggest the module is operated by a Dubai-based smuggler coordinating with associates in Punjab and abroad. Further investigation is ongoing to uncover the full network.

अमृतसर पुलिस ने सीमा पार नशीले पदार्थों की तस्करी का एक मॉड्यूल पकड़ा है। चार लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया गया है और 20 किलो हेरोइन जब्त की गई है। ड्रग्स को कथित तौर पर ड्रोन के ज़रिए भारत-पाकिस्तान सीमा पार से भेजा गया था। पिछले हफ्ते CI अमृतसर ने 74 किलो हेरोइन पकड़ी थी। शुरुआती जांच में पता चला है कि यह मॉड्यूल दुबई में बैठे एक तस्कर द्वारा चलाया जा रहा था।
