AAP Donations Drop 68% in Financial Year

The Aam Aadmi Party's donations for the 2025-26 financial year saw a significant 68% decrease, totaling Rs 12.10 crore. This marks a substantial drop from the Rs 38.10 crore received in the previous year. The majority of the contributions, nearly 83%, came from two donors, Prudent Electoral Trust and Trident Limited, each donating Rs 5 crore. Trident Limited was founded by former AAP MP Rajinder Gupta, who later joined the BJP. This decline occurred during the first full financial year after the party lost power in Delhi.

आम आदमी पार्टी (आप) को 2025-26 वित्तीय वर्ष में 68% की भारी गिरावट के साथ कुल 12.10 करोड़ रुपये का चंदा मिला। यह पिछले साल मिले 38.10 करोड़ रुपये की तुलना में एक बड़ी गिरावट है। कुल योगदान का लगभग 83% हिस्सा दो दानदाताओं, Prudent Electoral Trust और Trident Limited से आया, दोनों ने 5-5 करोड़ रुपये दिए। Trident Limited की स्थापना पूर्व आप सांसद Rajinder Gupta ने की थी, जो बाद में भाजपा में शामिल हो गए। दिल्ली में सत्ता गंवाने के बाद यह पार्टी के पहले पूरे वित्तीय वर्ष में गिरावट आई है।
