Railways to Operate 17 Pairs of Festival Special Trains to Manage Passenger Rush

East Central Railway (ECR) will run 17 pairs of festival special trains from stations under its jurisdiction to manage the expected passenger rush during Durga Puja, Diwali, and Chhath. Several routes will see additional services, including weekly and daily specials connecting major cities like Hyderabad, Chandigarh, and Delhi with destinations such as Danapur, Patna, and Muzaffarpur. These trains aim to facilitate travel for a significant number of passengers during the festive season. The special services are scheduled to operate from October through November.
