Pakistan achieved a remarkable one-wicket victory over England in a thrilling ODI tri-series match in Lahore. England celebrated prematurely after an LBW appeal against Shadab Khan, who was on 97, was initially upheld. However, Shadab successfully reviewed the decision, with ultra-edge showing the ball hit his bat first. This crucial reprieve allowed him to complete his maiden ODI century, scoring 113 not out, and, with Haris Rauf, forged a world-record unbeaten 89-run partnership for the tenth wicket to chase down 242.
