LDF Claims Bypoll Results Show Political Shift

The LDF coalition has claimed that recent local body by-election results indicate a significant political shift in their favour across Kerala. CPM state secretary M V Govindan alleged that UDF wins were bolstered by an understanding with the BJP, whose votes allegedly shifted to the UDF in several areas. He pointed to reduced UDF margins in Kozhikode and Ernakulam corporations as evidence. The LDF retained a division in Mattannur and won another in Chittur through a tie-breaker, while increasing its block panchayat tally.

एलडीएफ का दावा, उपचुनाव नतीजों से केरल में राजनीतिक बदलाव

एलडीएफ गठबंधन ने दावा किया है कि हाल के स्थानीय निकाय उपचुनाव के नतीजों से केरल में उनकी तरफ़ राजनीतिक बदलाव के संकेत मिले हैं। सीपीएम राज्य सचिव एम वी गोविंदन ने आरोप लगाया कि यूडीएफ की जीत में बीजेपी के साथ मिलीभगत का हाथ था, जिनके वोट कथित तौर पर कई इलाकों में यूडीएफ को मिले। उन्होंने कोझिकोड और एर्नाकुलम निगमों में यूडीएफ के कम हुए मार्जिन को इसका सबूत बताया। एलडीएफ ने मट्टनूर में एक डिविजन बरकरार रखी और चित्तूर में टाई-ब्रेकर से एक और जीती, साथ ही अपने ब्लॉक पंचायत की संख्या भी बढ़ाई।
