India Fuels Bitchat's Global Rise Despite Takedown

Despite a takedown order, the internet-free messaging app Bitchat is experiencing a surge in popularity in India. The country accounted for over half of the app's global downloads in the week ending July 24. Bitchat has also seen a significant climb in app store rankings.
