Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin will launch the 'Thaimaman Thangamothiram Thittam' scheme, at Madurai's Government Rajaji Hospital. This initiative will provide a one-gram gold ring to eligible newborns born in government hospitals. The scheme aims to encourage institutional deliveries and strengthen public trust in government healthcare services. The government has purchased 1.28 lakh gold rings for the initial distribution, with an annual budget of ₹755.83 crore planned for distributing approximately 4.41 lakh rings.

तमिलनाडु के मुख्यमंत्री एम. के. स्टालिन मदुरै के गवर्नमेंट राजाजी अस्पताल में 'थाईममन थंगमोथिरम थित्तम' योजना लॉन्च करेंगे। इस पहल के तहत सरकारी अस्पतालों में पैदा होने वाले योग्य नवजात शिशुओं को एक ग्राम की सोने की अंगूठी दी जाएगी। इस योजना का मकसद संस्थागत प्रसव को बढ़ावा देना और सरकारी स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं में जनता का भरोसा बढ़ाना है। सरकार ने शुरुआती वितरण के लिए 1.28 लाख सोने की अंगूठियां खरीदी हैं, और लगभग 4.41 लाख अंगूठियां बांटने के लिए सालाना ₹755.83 करोड़ का बजट रखा गया है।
