Peshawar High Court Seeks CM Afridi's Reply Over Helicopter Use

Pakistan's Peshawar High Court has requested a response from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi regarding allegations of government resource misuse for political activities. A petition claims Afridi used an official helicopter for the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's long march, citing a previous court judgment restricting such practices. The march, aimed at securing the release of PTI founder Imran Khan, began from Lakki Marwat. The court issued a notice to Afridi, seeking his explanation for the alleged misuse of official resources for party politics.

पाकिस्तान की पेशावर हाई कोर्ट ने खैबर पख्तूनख्वा के मुख्यमंत्री सोहेल अफरीदी से सरकारी संसाधनों के दुरुपयोग के आरोपों पर जवाब मांगा है। एक याचिका में दावा किया गया है कि अफरीदी ने पाकिस्तान तहरीक-ए-इंसाफ की लंबी मार्च के लिए सरकारी हेलीकॉप्टर का इस्तेमाल किया, जो कि एक पिछले कोर्ट के फैसले के अनुसार प्रतिबंधित है। यह मार्च पीटीआई संस्थापक इमरान खान की रिहाई के लिए लक्की मरवत से शुरू हुई थी। कोर्ट ने अफरीदी को नोटिस जारी कर पार्टी की राजनीति के लिए सरकारी संसाधनों के कथित दुरुपयोग पर स्पष्टीकरण मांगा है।
