The Pudu, a group of two deer species native to South America, holds the title of the world's smallest deer. The northern pudu, the smaller of the two, stands only about 32 to 35 cm at the shoulder and weighs between 3.3 to 6 kg. Guinness World Records confirms this remarkable size, making it visually comparable to just four apples stacked high. Despite their diminutive stature, pudus possess typical deer features like small antlers in males and are well-adapted to dense forest undergrowth.
