Father, Son Killed in Car Crash on Purvanchal Expressway

An 83-year-old man and his 52-year-old son died after their car hit a divider on the Purvanchal Expressway in Azamgarh early Saturday. Five family members were travelling from Delhi to Mau district when the accident occurred near Ohni village. CCTV footage suggests the driver may have dozed off, causing the vehicle to lose control and overturn. The deceased were identified as Khurshid Ahmad and his son Shadab, a civil engineer. Three other family members sustained injuries and were hospitalized.

आजमगढ़ में पूर्वांचल एक्सप्रेसवे पर शनिवार तड़के कार डिवाइडर से टकराने के बाद 83 वर्षीय व्यक्ति और उनके 52 वर्षीय बेटे की मौत हो गई। पांच परिवार के सदस्य दिल्ली से मऊ जिले की यात्रा कर रहे थे जब ओहिनी गांव के पास यह दुर्घटना हुई। सीसीटीवी फुटेज से पता चलता है कि ड्राइवर को झपकी आ गई होगी, जिससे गाड़ी अनियंत्रित होकर पलट गई। मृतकों की पहचान खुर्शीद अहमद और उनके बेटे शदाब, जो एक सिविल इंजीनियर थे, के रूप में हुई। तीन अन्य परिवार के सदस्यों को चोटें आईं और उन्हें अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया।
